Mako Marine of Forest City, NC and the Manasota Mako Owners Club Inc. are happy to announce the winners of the, 2006 Mako 171 with 90HP Johnson motor & Highlander trailer, Raffle Package.
Edwin 'Chip' and Mary Anne Miller were the lucky winners at the clubs Labor Day gathering and ticket draw. Chip, a retired Fire Fighter Paramedic, and Mary Anne, a retired 911 Emergency Dispatcher are members of the Manasota Mako Owners Club, Sarasota Outboard Club (dock master) and very active in the Sarasota community. The owners of a 1989 171 classic Mako, The "Blue Chip", they tow with a camper, they enjoy fishing, scuba, skiing, cruising and tend some recreational crab traps. Overjoyed with adding the 2006 Mako to their "fleet", Chip is looking forward to comparing the new ride to his classic.
A large crowd attended the gathering at Sarasota's Twin Lakes Park pavillion. The pot luck Labor Day picnic provided plenty of food and fun for the families before the drawing conducted by North & Co C.P.A.
Mako Marine's Curt Jarson congratulates the Millers and is proud that Mako could assist the club who's activities promote "what family boating is all about".
