To all Members and Sponsors;
For the 10th Annual Mana-Sota Mako Funament we had 24
boats, 96 people attending. On Friday night, one of our
speakers, "DC" from Sarasota Kayaks, showed us his rigged
kayak (GPS, fish finder, etc.) and explained how he guides
customers to fish in Sarasota Bay. SKA Tournament
Capt. Mark Maus showed us his Kingfish tackle and answered
our questions about catching Kingfish in the Gulf of
Mexico. Later we served food and drinks and played
games, like Redneck Horseshoes and Twister.
Most of our members fished on Saturday and that evening for
our dinner we ate smoked hog, chicken, beans and
vegetables. Later, we raffled off numerous fishing
items to raise money for our club.
