To all members:
 
Again we had a fantastic time at Crystal River this year. Twenty boats, 113 people including 31 children attended. This was the largest group of members and guests that have attended the Funament in several years. We had to travel long to find scallops this year.  Some days our round trips were 40 to 50 miles long to find them.  We found scallops in the clear water, close into the barrier islands, and south of Homosassa Pass.  The Pizza Party and Bingo were a lot of fun.  Our members really enjoyed playing bingo upstairs in the Palm Room.  For our BBQ meal, Awards and raft off, every family / boat attending received a nice canvas boat bag and every child 18 our under received a Mana-Sota Mako Owners Club Squirt Rifle.  Pictures will be posted soon at our Web Site, www.manasotamako.com.
   
We are planning another Raft Off in Sarasota during the Labor Day weekend.  Please look for the e-mail about that function.  Again, the Board of Directors thank all of the members that volunteered part of their vacation to help us put on the Crystal River Funament, this year. Also a thank you goes to member Craig Brunstein for the excellent job he did on the t-shirts, hats, visors and club flag.
